Frequently asked questions
About our products
Q: Is the Animalizzer the only pedal available?
A: Yes, for now. We expect to extend our range of effect pedals in the near future. We have ideas on paper, some are in development stage, and others already in testing stage.
Q: The design of the Animalizzer, I love it! Who did it?
A: Carlos Alves, such a talented guy! Please find his work here.
He is also vocal/guitarist at Dowsers Society.
Q: Do you ship worldwide? How much is the shipping cost?
A: Yes, of course. Shipping rates are as follow:
As soon as it is shipped, we provide you the carrier tracking number.
Mind that delivery times may vary, for a number of reasons! All of your shipments are tracked and I will send you tracking information via email within 1 working day of your shipment.
Warranties and Returns
Q: What is the Warranty?
A: 5 years starting on the date of purchase. This does not cover misuse of any kind (for example, damage caused by pluging a center-positive power source, or broken pots/switches caused from abused handling).
Q: If I don't like the pedal, can I return it?
A: You have 14 days from the day you receive the pedal to decide. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, it must contain all shipping and packing material and be in mint condition. We will proceed with the refund process, upon receipt and inspection.
Q: My Animalizzer is broken. What should I do?
A: Please contact us.
Q: I don't quite hear much difference in sound using the STAGE I switch. Is it broken?
A: Not at all. Stage I clipping is most noticeable when both Pre-gain and Fuzz controls are above 75%. You will hear a different bass response, mainly when switching from "Si" to "LED" (bassier) or "None" (a bit more bass content than LED). Mind that the main clipping characteristics are on STAGE II rotary switch. Please check the Animalizzer section for more info.
Q: Does it take 12V or 18V DC?
A: Yes it does, it accepts from 9V to 18V DC (center negative all times, don't forget). You'll have added headroom without changing its personality. Try and see which suits your needs best.
Q: What is the current draw of the Animalizzer?
A: Less than 5 mA (mili-ampere)
Q: Being a Fuzz, does it mean it must be first in the chain?
A: No. This circuit doesn't have the impedance issues some older fuzz circuits have. You can use it wherever you like it in your chain.
